iView ChiMat

iView ChiMat has been developed by the NHS Information Centre (NHS IC) for ChiMat to allow access to more detailed information on NHS IC datasets for those working in the NHS and wider Public Sector.

iView ChiMat includes data on the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) and workforce data. It enables users to make selections, view comparisons, create tables, generate graphs and extract child and maternal health data.

  • The National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) data provides child obesity indicators for different geographical areas. It includes breakdowns by Local Authority District unavailable elsewhere
  • The Workforce data provides access to Strategic Health Authority, Primary Care Trust and Trust level data on NHS staff working in child and maternal health. It includes both the medical and non-medical workforce.

Anyone employed by the NHS or wider public sector, who would find this data useful in their work, can apply to be a user. New users need to complete the registration form and, once approved, they will be sent a username and password allowing them to log in and use the tool.
