Needs Assessment Tools
ChiMat is developing a Child Health Needs Assessment toolkit, which will support elements of the requirements set out for undertaking needs assessment as part of both Childrens and Young Peoples Plans and Joint Strategic Needs Assessment. The tools provide appropriate evidence-based information on prevalence, incidence and risk factors affecting children's health and the provision of healthcare services.
This is being built using a modular based approach, and the following modules are now available:
- Demographic profile
- Child and adolescent mental health
- Children and young people with disabilities.
- Continence in children
- Healthy Schools Profiles
- Speech and language new
We are currently working on the following modules:
- Children and young people with diabetes
- Children and young people with epilepsy.
