Strategy for children and young people's health
The Government has recently published its long term vision of a 21st Century children’s health service aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of all children.
Healthy lives, brighter futures: the strategy for children and young people’s health – has been launched by Alan Johnson, Secretary of State for Health and Ed Balls, Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families.
This joint strategy presents the Government’s vision for children and young people’s health and wellbeing. It sets out how it will build on progress through: world-class outcomes; high quality services; excellent experience in using those services; and minimising health inequalities.
ChiMat plays a key role in supporting the delivery of the child health strategy through strengthening the information and evidence available to help plan, monitor and improve children and young people’s services.
