Description:
This course is aimed at teachers, NQTs, SENCOs, teaching assistants and anyone who works in school environment. It will look at the autistic spectrum and how this may affect the child and young person's educational experiences and outcomes. The course covers all aspects of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, using case studies and examples throughout, to highlight the key areas of difference that may impact on an individual with ASD. It stresses the changes and support strategies that practitioners have to try to make in their own approach and practice in order to best support the individual with ASD.
