Resource Information
Description:
This paper examined whether the availability of breastfeeding facilities at the workplace helped to reconcile breastfeeding and work commitments. The availability of breastfeeding facilities was found to be associated with a higher probability of breastfeeding and a higher probability to return to work by four and six months after the birth of the child. The latter effects were only found for women with higher levels of education.
