Resource Information
Description:
Screening low-risk women for the risk of adverse pregnancy outcome, such as pre-eclampsia, is still largely based on clinical assessment, due to negative trials of new methods. The author argues that previous studies have weaknesses in their design and have focused on preterm pre-eclampsia despite the lack of clearly effective interventions to improve outcome.
