Resource Information
Description:
A database of national and international parenting programmes and approaches available in England. Aimed at commissioners, it provides detailed information about each programme’s aims, content, target groups and training requirements. It also provides information about their quality and effectiveness, enabling commissioners to make informed choices about how suitable a programme is for meeting the needs of specific groups of parents. Benefits of the tool include:
Supports better commissioning through the use of resources in the toolkit database
Helps commissioners to understand and make better choices on the programmes most suited to local needs
Encourages the ultimate realisation of improved Every Child Matters (ECM) outcomes for children, young people and families.
