Resource Information
Description:
Positively involved fathers can have a huge impact on children’s learning and development, including on their reading age and other performance measures, and on their behaviour. The Fatherhood Institute, drawing on international evidence and the organisation’s extensive practical knowledge of ‘what works’, has produced a new training package for schools, which is evidence-based and practice-focussed. Designed with INSET days in mind, the course will provide schools with tools and strategies to evaluate current engagement with dads, increase and sustain dads’ involvement.
