The research is based on analysis of the Millennium Cohort Study (MCS) and looks at a range of factors in infancy and from age three that are associated with outcomes for children at five years. The full research reports as well as useful visual summaries (charts illustrating the strength of association between factors and outcomes) are available at www./preview/evidence.
PREview is a set of planning resources to help commissioners, managers and professionals to target preventive resources, in particular around the Healthy Child Programme, where they are most needed. Access the PREview resources at www./preview.
Please note that the responsibility for the reliability and content of the presentation rests with Professor Hobcraft and that any opinions expressed are his personal reflections.
