Since 1 April 2013, the former Child and Maternal Health Observatory (ChiMat) have been part of Public Health England (PHE), an executive agency of the Department of Health. PHE has been established to protect and improve the nation's health and wellbeing and to reduce inequalities. This website continues to be updated.
